I am indeed a newb in diy audio. Looking forward to digging myself out of a hole, I have a eBay/China mm phono board(6leg chip) that is quiet as a mouse and sounds on the thin side. Not sure if it has potential or replace. Its mounted under my linn lp12 TT so would like to stay onboard if possible with something worthy. Any suggestions on a basic steady upgrade low cost solutions would be awesome. It goes to a tda7297 to paradigm monitor 5 floorstanders.
