Should I update the firmware on my iDSD?

Hi,

I have a couple of iFi products purchased in 2015.  Micro iDSD (silver case ). And an iUSB power (silver case).  Both work fine.
Is there any sonic improvement from updating the firmware?

Not directly. But for example our 5.3c firmware engages our GTO filter to all PCM data and some folks find it enjoyable. Other than this, there's firmware which i.e. unlocks MQA. If you're into MQA, I encourage you to try it!
