Normally the wife says why? She said ok so now i need to buy new speakers and amp for my record room ( old dinning room ) currently have home theater/man cave downstairs have ascend Sierra bookshelves front and center cbn170 surrounds and rears in record room have Elac debut f5 got them cheap to start the room and used my old Onkyo 805 so i need help i want to start with speakers then amp was thinking ohm walsh or the gr reaserch pedistal or CST-1 complete speakers it's a small space 10×14 with doorway on side and double doorway in rear both open so need to have speakers close to wall and hello everyone i am near St Louis just on the Illinois side

I like both the speakers you mentioned. Having said that, I haven't heard an Ohm product in forever. The CST-1 is an excellent speaker, and at under $1K, is an even better value.

I have the Sierra 1 fronts and centers there good not spectacular or anything just easy to listen too I just bought the last pair of Carnegie Acoustics CST-1 thanks to them calling me back and saying they had 1 pair left so I had to commit now have to decide on a amp

Regardless of wife, if you buy used you will get 50% or more value for your money and a better system and the flexibility to buy/sale until you get your tastes and preferences dialed in.

For $3k I'd look at Omegas, Spatial or Tekton and a Cherry Amp.

Only after i think Danny called me back and magically found another pair he said you want them well i had to buy them especially after i thought they were sold out thanks for replying also 👍
