Hello all

Hello all, I'm new here ...i suppose that doesn't need saying really .. I'm in the UK and found AC from a link to a thread in dare i say it Audiokarma.. the thread was about upgrading the Klipsch Forte III ..I have Quartets from 92 so found the info very interesting that led me to reading a few other threads here and so here i am introducing myself ... I'm of the early 60s vintage and have managed keep almost all of my smallish vinyl collection (from Jazz to Prog Rock & Opera) since my teens which is great as since being widowed a year and a bit ago i have got back into analogue sound, i have added a TT Phono Tube amp and the Klipsch speakers along with a few more records.

I've just pulled the trigger on a Yamaha CA-1000 amp & CT-800 tuner to supplement my SS gear being Benchmark HDR DAC1, Cyrus PreX, Cyrus Mono Xs' into KEF LS50s', I'm not sure once I've got the CA-1000 up & running whether it will be better running into the Quartets or the LS50s ? Plus I'm looking forward to sharing in the Jazz circle as I'm rediscovering my old pops (lost him in 05 bless him) love for Jazz he knew Ronnie Scott & Ted Heath back in the days and spent a lot of time hanging out with Ronnie and then in his club, all long before myself.
