I have been trying to figure out how to get the Macaronivision out of my LG LST-3510A so I can view DVD's from it's VGA(RGB) outputs, using my RBGHV inputs on my Barco BG801 projector. A fellow, named Niel, at customer service told me that the unit IS capable of upscaling DVD's via VGA, but could not(would not) tell me how. I don't want to spend the bucks on a high-priced DVI>VGA converter. Does anybody know if there was a period where the Macaronii thingy was on the DVI output and not on the VGA output?
