I've replaced $20K+ worth of DAC/tube preamp/tube power amp with this one box module and didn't look back. I honestly didn't think I sacrificed sound quality in the process. The room correction system is very easy and makes a SIGNIFICANT difference.
Perfect for simplifying system/getting rid of interconnects and power cords, not wanting to deal with tube heat, wanting good sound in a difficult room but can't have ugly bass traps, or for a second system/downsizing. I can't think of a better solution than the Lyngdorf. I've been told that TDAI-2170 may have a better sound quality than TDAI-3400 but haven't done the comparison myself.
