Getting the most out of the gear one already has is a great idea, which IMO is all too often over looked. Why do I say that? Well it seems to me most people put very little thought and effort into positioning their speakers. Myself, I've taken up to two months doing this... Yes it helps to have a dedicated room so one doesn't have to consider aesthetics, WAF or anything else.  :D :D
