Hey everyone! Chris here, hailing from Va. Have long been into audio, and built a few speakers along the way albeit quite some time ago. Really been intrigued by the GR stuff, and am excited to dip my toe in the diy waters again since I’m itching to upgrade my current speakers. Going to start with the X-LS Encore to see how it goes. Doing a very basic budget build, and starting with some PE knockdown 0.56 cabinets. I’ll create a thread at some point and keep everyone posted. It’ll be slow, but looking forward to it.
Current listening setup is pretty basic: Teac AI-2000 integrated, Pioneer Elite PD-65 CD player, Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC, NHT SB-2 bookshelfs, and HiFiman HE-4XX headphones.
