The voltage is the same in the US and Canada.  I've sold audio equipment to Canadians a couple of times.

The warranty may not be honored in a country other than that in which the product was sold.

Service under warranty would be required in the country of origin:

Here is a post from 4 years ago from a thread with a similar question.  I don’t know if Bryston has changed their policy since James posted his response which is quoted below.

"The warranty is covered in the country the product was purchased "

That's interesting.  So if I, living in the US, buys a used Bryston amp from a Canadian, the 20 warranty in void?

Steve

Not void - just has to come back to Canada or the USA for warranty. North America is seen as one market for us.

If someone in China buys a product from a US or Canadian dealer then any service has to be done in the USA or Canada. It is not fair to have a distributor who did not sell the product be responseable for the service.

More recently, I asked about warranty for a unit I might purchase in Canada. I thought the response from Bryston (J.T.) was that it would be under warranty only in Canada. So there is conflicting information here -- I'd advise anyone considering a cross-border purchase to check directly with Bryston (and save a copy of the response).

Warranty covers N. America as a region.  Non-digital products built after the 8th week of 2006 require a dealer invoice for warranty service.
