Another oldie but still a goodie
« on: 29 Mar 2020, 08:01 pm »
This is not a case where I dusted these off and put them back in a system. They are my everyday speakers in the office system. Most of the time I'm in and out of my office multiple times a day so I don't listen to them a lot. However, now that I'm stuck at home, my office sessions consist of multiple hours of continual computer use. I've been streaming Qobuz today and am still amazed at how good these speakers sound. They are now in a 2.1 system with a small 10" sub.

What speakers am I talking about? Why the LGK 1.0s of course.

I sure hope Danny is successful in developing a replacement driver. These little beauties are way too good to go extinct.

Yup, pretty  killer  little  speakers.    I still want  to build the full array  we  all saw  way back  ...  have  had it modeled for ages  , but so far,    that's all  we've got.

That particular pair   you  did  Mike  are  gorgeous   :thumb:

Killer is right. Everybody who has heard them the times I've had them at Lone Star did a double take and I never used a sub at the show.

The crotch figure really shows up on the sides

As good as they look, they sound better.
