Why free?
The stock SPDIF receiver chip is a known defective part but Behringer keeps using it instead of changing the PCB. Mine had intermittent audio drop outs on digital input one time when I used it 7 yrs ago. I blamed the dropouts on that defective chip, but it was intermittent, so it could be bad lock with my squeezebox or Sonos. The last time I used it it did not drop out, but no guarantee it is healthy. If it still has drop outs, it will need either a clock/receiver upgrade kit, or replace the stock rx chip. Be careful as PCB traces are notoriously weak on Behringer products. I'll never fix it so I'm just giving it away rather than trashing it.
