Hey from Seattle, Excited to pick up some advice and meet fellow audio geeks. Here's a pic of my most recent project, sanding down a the finish off the classic a/d/s L300c. Cheers!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Love that picture! I once had a pair of the Braun L300 and before that the L200.

Greetings & Welcome to AC Andy   :thumb:  Got some of the mobile version of those in my vintage Subaru. They still play pretty good, especially considering the surrounds disintegrated some time ago. Not unexpected after about 35 yrs.  8)

Samoyed - I grew up at 1732 Lake Washington Blvd, just a few houses south of Denny Blaine beach... I used to play my stereo so loud that a friend swore he heard it down at the beach! I lived there until around '78, my folks sold the house about 10 years ago. I now live in the Fauntleroy area in West Seattle. Small world!

Welcome Andy, I'm sort of local in Gig Harbor, seldom get up to Seattle anymore, used to frequent Jazz Alley fairly regularly, 100 miles round trip is a bit much now.

Looks like the West Seattle bridge is out for some time!

That's OK, like the rest of us I'm kinda stuck around the house, walks around Lincoln Park and Alki ...  a good time to fix the bridge.
