I do. I had Klaus build my all in Kismet in Stratos monos because the Maggie 1.7's were eating other amps for breakfast. Now the amps are in control. I now stream through a tube DAC to an all in Don Sachs pre to my monos. All connected with AntiCable PC's, interconnects, and speaker cables. Finest system I've had and I've had many.
One thing on those Maggie's.......get rid of those cheap steel jumpers and put in a pair of good quality ones (I use Anticables there too).
You will be very surprised at the change.
HaHa!

Right there with you!!!!
I bought my LRS's almost a year ago and went through 3 amps! All of them are going into protection mode and so on and all sounded very thin once the volume levels went up.
Magnepan's are no joke. Anyone thinking about buying a pair of Maggie's, my advice is buy the best and most power you can afford! PERIOD! They get better with more power. Unless you're listening at very moderate volume levels. I looked into some Stratos Mono's but ultimately went with a pair of Golden Cherry mono's from The Digital Amplifier Company. Final Q&C was last night, which the owner of the company has 1.7's that he voices his amps to, and they should be shipping out today! I am SUPER excited! But yeah, The Stratos mono's were on my short list and I am sure they sound spectacular with 1.7's.
By the way, I am upgrading to the 1.7's myself, in that 1 year window for the trade up option.
Quick question. I was looking at the Anticables website to replace the steel jumpers. Can you post a link to the specific one you use? I am not sure what to buy.
Thanks!
