Another AudioCircle Newbie

Another noob who recently started tube rolling and looking forward to interacting with other rollers and audio enthusiasts in here.

Have a friend who rolls daily in his tube preamp, tube power mono-blocks, and tube DAC.  That would drive me nuts.  Had a tubed DAC briefly, the suggested boutique tube sounded no different, as did using no tube at all!  Auditioned a tubed preamp, and again suggested boutique tubes made no difference.  Owned a tube integrated, finally tube rolling (output) made a difference but the best sounded barely better than old solid state Class D mono-blocks so sold it on. 

But tube rolling is an easy way to interact with your gear.
