Hey guys,Just about to purchase a used and in very good condition BP-20 with MPS-1 DC power supply.
Silly Question...
Is it possible to get a phono stage option installed if the DAC option is installed on a BP-20? or other Bryston preamps for that matter.
I took a look at the online manuals and don't see that both options are available for one preamp?
Is this possible?

Hi

The BP20 can only have either a DAC or a Phono Stage but not both.

Thanks James for the quick reply. From what I observed both input upgrades are done at the same location on the pre amp. Must mean the circuitry was designed that way.

Yes correct.  The newer preamps like the BP17 can have both Phono and a DAC
