I have done all the psu mods and it sounded great! i changed out the caps on the signal board and it sounded even better. i went to change the opamp and i accidentilly knocked off the very small smt resister???? right behind the opamp. its right next to the I on ic309 i think. i have tried in vein to resolder this resister back on with no luck. its just plain too small. so i went to buy a 3960 witht he hope of replacing the board. but alass there has been a complete design change to the 3960 internals. so im stuck with trying to repair this board. only thing i can think of is to get a larger size resister with the same value and solder it on in the same spot.
anyways my question is does anyone have a schematic for the 3950 and is there anyway they could tell me the correct value of this resister? if that is what it is. there is no label on the board for it. i will include a picture somehow later tonight when i get home. (much later!!) tia!!
