Probably the most sophisticated and musical standmount speakers I have ever heard. Time-coincident driver array, including a chambered beryllium tweeter, a front-facing laminar port for seamless room placement, a superb crossover network including Mundorf metal oxide resistors and Clarity CSA polypropylene capacitors, oxygen free copper binding posts, deep bass definition, and ease of drive (8 ohm nominal, 6 ohm minimum). Spookily precise image placement and wil entirely disappear with thanks to their slanted silent-core enclosures with rounded corners for diffraction reduction (front and back) and felted driver surrounds.

The Ryan Speakers S610 pair in Clear Walnut finish are the subject of significant acclaim in audio shows in partnership with Pass Labs, Doshu Audio, PS Audio, Auralic, and Cardas. Conservative 8/10 just to be super safe; but realistically 9/10. They look and sound just perfect. Matched pair from the original owner. Includes all original items and packaging. I have a 100% rating on Audiogon and USAudiomart (user name: transience).

MSRP: $3995. ASKING: $3000 (Now, $2925). For Paypal, please add 3%. $100 FedEx shipping in CONUS. Considerate offers will be considered accordingly.
As the original owner, I purchased these new from a highly renowned high-end New York audio retailer in January 2019.

OUTSTANDING ACCLAIM
"It says a lot that a competing manufacturer whispered into my ear, “You gotta check out the Ryan room. It sounds amazing!” Indeed, it did. Ryan Speakers’ S610 ($3995/pair) is not particularly distinctive visually or technically; it’s simply the result of a great deal of analysis and fine-tuning. The 1" tweeter and 5.25" woofer are designed in-house using a Klippel distortion analyzer and scanning vibrometer. Constrained-layer damping keeps the enclosure from vibrating or resonating."
— Brent Butterworth, SoundStage Global (RMAF 2018)

"The UK often lays claim to ‘owning’ the standmount loudspeaker market, but it hasn’t reckoned with the $4,000 Ryan Speakers S610."
– Alan Sircom, Hi-Fi+ (Insights from Axpona 2018)

RYAN’S NOTES
Over a year of continuous development and refinement are reflected in the S-Series loudspeakers. Each driver designed in house specifically for its application using the latest simulation and measurement software. The design of every motor and suspension is perfected using the Klippel Distortion Analyzer and Scanning Vibrometer.  The drivers are blended seamlessly by the finely tuned crossovers producing near flat in room frequency response, even in less than ideal acoustic spaces. Each crossover component is chosen for its transparency and ability to let the music flow through unaffected.

The unique shape of the S-Series enclosures allows the acoustic centers of all drivers to be perfectly aligned. A large radius is applied to the front and rear baffles eliminating edge reflections. The S-Series features our silent core cabinet material with internal constrained layer damping. The S-Series enclosures reduce unwanted noise by up to 50dB compared to typical MDF enclosures.

Thanks, Jake! :thumb: I'm selling the S610s (as opposed to R610s which are also nice). The ones I am selling are built to a MUCH higher standard; they are of course priced accordingly.

I love the S610s (and know some people describe them as being night and day different from Ryan Speakers' earlier designs).
