Rare 5650 Integrated with matching 3950SD Tuner.

Infamous and rare Sony V-Fet integrated. Sounds very unique and has triode like qualities, due to the very unique V-fet transistors. This is the only integrated that has V-Fets in the phono stage. This amp is very clean and detailed, while at the same time having an engrossing 3-D imaging, it really sounds amazing as many have said. The only reason for the sale is that I am getting a Yamaha B2, that is a match for my NS-1000  There are some scratches here and there on the top of each unit, and the tuner's meter lamps are out, but I ordered a new bulb and will install.

Both units are fully functional and play without any issues. The unit 5650 does not get hot, so I assuming that bias is still accurate. To the best that I can tell from forums and looking at inside the 5650 this unit has not had the Sony recommended update of diodes, resistors, and bias.

Price is at $750. Shipping will be $65 and I will take care of the Paypal fees. I have great feedback on USAudiomart under Enochrome and Audiogon under Enobenetto.

Yes, it's a very unique piece. I'm going to have a tech replace the diodes, rebias and possibly the caps. Here's a photo of the v-fets in case people were wondering because I read recently that some not cool people were swapping them out with bipolar's.
