Hey All,

Introducing myself here from Northern Alberta. I subscribed to TIDAL the other day in hopes that I could get blown away y how uch better the sound quality is supposed to be. Ultimately looking for tips and that, and how to get the best out of my modest 3.1 Home stereo.

Thanks!

Tip- add an MQA capable component to your system and check out Tidal Masters tracks. :thumb:

Welcome!

Tidal better sound quality compared to what?

I primarily use Tidal via a NAD M10, commissioned speakers, 3 subs, 10 GIK 244 panels (see them here on AC), and 3 randomly filled tall bookcases in a well insulated dedicated Fibonacci ratio room.  But frankly hear little difference between Redbook (CD) and MQA.  Honestly prefer original recordings to MQA.

Would be glad to give advice but any advice would be shots in the dark until we have details about your system/room.
