Hi, My name is Alex Bornstein. I have been on the site for years but it wouldn't recognize my email so I registered as a newbie. I have all sorts of equipment, mostly vintage but some new. Over the years I have bought and listened to Maggies, Advents, Rogers, Lowther, Dahlquist 10s and 20, ARC, Scott, Fisher, Marantz, Prima Luna, Macintosh, etc etc. I mostly listen nearfield and I would say my two systems are more midfi than hifi. I have been known to buy equipment I couldn't afford when I was young and poor, like stacked large bullnose Advents, now that I have a little money and time. I mostly like tube equipment but have two modded Hafler 500s I have used with the maggies.
