I,m in my fifties now, and I've worked for the last twenty years as a family physician in the city of Peterborough.
I live east of there, in the country, with my wife, two little dogs, three cats and a cockatiel.
Have owned for over ten years a 4B non-pro version, serial number dated to 1981, and a 1B preamp. I am fortunate that if I need service I can drop my gear off to the plant on my way to work.
Had the 4B recapped, new cord, and whatever else it needed, for a sum enough to make me want to keep it for many years. In fact I think it was Mr Tanner who held the door for me when I took it in, as we were both entering the same time.
The amp sounds better as a result. To think I only took it in to get new RCA’s put on!
Also an Altec and Klipsch horn speaker enthusiast, which can be a loud combination with the Bryston.
I have a question about DC protection but which needs starting a separate thread, per the rules, which I can’t do until I intro myself. So that’s me.
