Looking for a pair of excellent condition av123 piano rosewood ls-9’s for sale.  I have seen a few used sets for sale over the years if anyone is looking to get rid of theirs I am looking to purchase a set.  Thanks!

Still interested in a pair.  No one wants to get rid of theirs? 😁

Did you check with Hugh at Angel City Audio? Seems like he had a pair for sale, but I can’t remember the finish.

I did actually thank you for the suggestion.  They want wayyy more than the old pricing when these things  originally sold let alone what the used pairs that have sold on here have gone for.

I sold my LS-C center channel last week. Still have my LS6’s available. I know they’re not piano or the 9’s, but if you’re willing to compromise a little bit let me know. :)

I have a pair of LS-9 in Bubinga (Rosewood family).  Asking $4,000.00 firm, no counter offers accepted.  These were built by me from the GR kit.  But you should be aware that these are very, very heavy; as in around 175lb each at a guess.  This is because I increased the front and rear baffle thickness for added rigidity.  All internal volumes remained the same so this does not affect the design parameters.  The crossovers used the best caps and inductors Danny offered at the time of build.  The veneer is truly beautiful as I hand book-matched from highly figured Bubinga bought from an importer in Brooklyn, back when I lived in the NE.  I used to handbuild furniture so I had a lot of exceptional veneers around at the time.  So, these are really only practical for someone who has a trailer and can pick them up.  I live in Central Texas.
