Question/suggestion...for James.
« on: 5 Feb 2020, 03:35 pm »
Hello  James.I was thinking  if it would be an idea to combine the BDA3 with  the BAP3 together on a single chassis. It would be nice ( for me at least) to keep the total number of units down in my limited rack space...Thanks :thumb:

I have had similar wishes. Too many boxes, power cords, and interconnects. I would like to be able to rip, store, and playback all with one box. DAC inclusion could be an option for those wanting an internal DAC. Others may want no DAC because they have a separate DAC or have one of the new integrated amplifiers with a DAC function.

Hi

The new BDP-3.14 is the best option if you want an all in one unit.

Putting the BDA3 and BDP-3 in one chassis would take a lot more space and there is some benefit to separate units especially as the digital landscape changes yearly.
