I just joined up. It looks like a very interesting community. I have not really dabbled in DIY audio, other than building a music steamer kit (very intimidating for me), but have been a music fanatic for 40+ years. I currently have 3 stereo systems running.
Office system (McIntosh MAC4100 receiver, Volumio Primo Streamer, Spendor S3/5R2 speakers)
Bedroom System (Accuphase E-301 integrated amp, raspberry pi/hifiBerry DAC + streamer running Runeaudio, KEF LS50 speakers)
Main System (Audio Research LS3 Preamp, PS Audio HCA2 Amp, Nottingham Spacedeck, Benz Micro MC Gold Cartridge, Trigon Advance Phone Stage, Consonance Reference 2.2 CD player, Magnepan MG1.6QR Speakers)
I am thinking about upgrading the speakers in my office system and am toying with the idea of going the DIY/Kit approach.
