This my spare VPI 3D arm wand. I purchased it new for my Prime but haven’t used it much. It’s in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I only used it a couple of times and doubt the wiring is fully broken in. I’m including several upgrades as pictured:

includes:
10” 3D arm wand with removable metal finger lift
Sound Smith counter intuitive azimuth ring
VPI anti-skate collar and fishing line
VPI dual pivot/thrust plate/steel set screw
Ruby tipped set screw for dual pivot from Joe Pittman at Kosmic

I’m asking $1200 $1100 shipped in the continental USA

The tonearm has regular wire?

Also, I can't figure out how the dual pivot thingy works...There's a pivot point only one one side of the tonearm so the other side is unpivoted??? (just an audiophile, not an engineer)

I need this arm...

Hi Paul,

The arm is wired with the Discovery wiring. The dual pivot Outrigger point glides on the polished thrust pad shown in the picture with the metal finger lift and set screws. I find that it helps focus the sound and makes setting azimuth much simpler. I'm not engineer either... Here's a thread that discusses it in detail with pics:

Thanks!
