For Sale is a high end Bel Canto DAC/Pre & external Power Supply, called the VBL1.

VBL = Virtual Battery Supply, b/c the noise level is so low due to BCs propriety power supply, proprietary filers, that they have been improving for over 20 years.
I am the second owner, have had her for about 2 years. This is the best DAC Ive ever used. Ive been using Bel Canto DACs for 8 years, continuing to move up the chain to higher and higher quality.
The SQ is excellent IMO. Bel Canto (a US company in Minneapolis) has been in business since the 1980s. They first specialized in tube audio gear, then took that knowledge, and developed Class D products over at least the last 2 decades. But BC still "voices" their products to reveal a tube-like quality, especially in the mids/vocals, but especially in the airy highs and low frequencies that still have slam and dynamics like SS.
This DAC 3.7 has a hybrid power supply. Please see the Bel Canto website link above. There is some very slight fraying on the umbilical cord (see last pics). Obviously, it does not affect SQ. But I disclose it for Full Disclosure.
