The Balanced Audio Technology VK-51SE is a true reference-level preamplifier, representing BAT's no holds barred assault on the state-of-art in preamp designs. The current updated version of this unit is the 53SE---which has a $15k list price, incidentally. This VK-51SE functions, looks, and sounds as new. I'm selling only due to downsizing.
