Greetings from Lafayette Indiana

First post, here...

Just getting back into audio, like so many others seem to be doing!
Lots of time spent learning what sound makes me smile.

Started with some Schiit components, which I sold yesterday.
Found out that I like a tubey sound.

I purchased some Forte IIs and struggled to get any bass out of them in my space. Also a lot of midrange distortion. :|
I smoothed out the midrange and managed to get more bass, but that's only shown me I want to go much further with that sound.
I'll probably sell the Fortes.  Considering DIY kit from GR Research.
