I'd like to install handles on my 7BSTs with 17" faceplates. I have to move them around periodically and the handles would help a bit, but my units did not come with them as stock features. Looking at pictures of the 19" models with stock handles, it appears that the handles bolt to the same faceplate holes that secure the faceplate to the chassis on my 17" units. If I buy a set of original handles from Bryston, will they drop right into the faceplate retaining holes of my 17" amps and secure the faceplate like the current bolts? Or would I have to have the faceplates drilled out to accept the handles?
