These high performance monitors are in matte-black finish, 18 months old,and in excellent condition. Each speaker has a 6.5 inch SEAS aluminum mid/woofer, a 1 inch titanium dome tweeter, and aluminum passive radiator in back. They are relatively easy to drive with 87dB sensitivity at 8 ohms. I used them on 24 inch stands with Pass ACA 10 watt class A monos, Fleawatt 25 watt chip amp, and Schiit Aegir 20 watt class A amplifiers.

The Argon3S sound great when played loud, but they also retain their transparency and emotional impact at lower volumes for nighttime listening.
