First time on this discussion site. Previously, I read some very interesting posts, and decided to join. Don't buy as much audio gear as I used to. Most of my early purchases were from the AR-3 era. Bought and sold many pieces through the 90's. H-K Citation, SL-8 player, Tandberg R2R, large Advent speakers. Not too thrilled about the black plastic units. But, love to try things out. However, I place a limit to what I'll spend. Now, just experimenting with internet and local-network audio servers, and receivers like Yamaha R-N303. Recently repaired and are using Boston Acoustics T830 floor standing speakers.
