I started my journey by building a Dynakit ST-70 in college. This was my affordable way to get a stereo system. I was able to secure a used Eico preamp and Garrard turntable, along with some terrible speakers, but it was stereo and it was mine! Over the years I have upgraded all components and now mainly stream music from my NAS to my receivers. I recently unpacked the Dynaco, tested, re-tubed, and it works beautifully. I hope to find the right place in the house to set up a vinyl listening area. I expect my old Pioneer turntable will need some cleaning, although packed away carefully.
