Greetings everyone,

Old phart here, retired from the electronics industry. In another life I worked for Sherwood, SAE, and Soundcraftsmen.

Stereo has always been part of my life.

Glad to be part of the group.

My first good system was a Souncraftman preamp/equalizer, SAE 31B power amp and Large Advents. I was never very happy with the Soundcraftsman with my system, but I was very fond of the 31B.

Merry Christmas to you and welcome

Welcome Rick :thumb:
Do you could inform me on what was that Class H output stage Soundcraftsmen used on his power amps?
Thanks

To my understanding, class H was class AB with a power supply that would increase based upon input, thereby allowing higher power when needed and drawing lower power from the mains under small signal conditions.
