I have for sale a wonderful pair of brand new Special Forty in Grey Birch.

These have speakers about 250 hours on them at moderate volumes. They were edged out by a more expensive model but are still very insanely excellent speakers. As others have stated the pictures do not capture how good these look in person.

This is an excellent stand-mount speaker only bettered by a few more expensive brands.

These are 10 out of 10 condition with all the original packaging.

I agree and see this commonly done in ads... once a product is opened and used at all it's no longer new. It may be considered in "as new" condition cosmetically, but NEW means unused and factory sealed!

I think you have to read the phrase "250 hours NEW" all together,  as in hardly used.

Maybe, a bit of marketing hyperbole,  but it is a for sale ad.

I see your point regarding the title, but the first line of the ad states: "I have for sale a wonderful pair of brand new Special Forty in Grey Birch."

They’re 250 hrs away from being brand new but I do like the way the seller photographed them.

Oh man... brand new as in 1st owner just purchased. Wouldn’t you guys rather be listening to music then fighting over semantics. As far as photography goes I am not sure what you want. Purple is how I role.
