I was going to get some Dynamat for my audio PC and then thought I should get some for my trunk as well... Then I thought about putting it behind my sheetrock... ;)

I came across this stuff and wondered if anyone had tried it:

Carl,

I read a number of posts, on s2ki.com, where several of the guys had used this product, and had very good results with reducing road and exhaust noise, from intruding into the passenger compartment.

In fact, I have added this to my (already too long) list of projects to undertake.

I tried searching the s2ki forum to find the thread, but it wasn't coming up in the short amount of time I had to look. I will continue to try to find that thread...it was encouraging.

Steve,
Thanks for the link.... So it appears as though it works well.  I'm looking forward to getting some when I coat my wife's car... I've already 'Dynamatted' my PC because I couldn't wait.

I'll have extra and will likely experiment with the PC again.  The Dynamat did not do what I'd hoped it would.  However, it worked as advertised and cut maybe 3db... but I was hoping it would do more since I was encapsulating the PC in it.

Now I'm going to try and fit a quieter CPU fan... which might be difficult.  We'll see....
