Up and running

Hi Gang:
Got my AKSA 100-N up and running. Played it outside on the patio for two days, made final adjustmemts, and brought it inside and installed it in the main stereo system.
The amp lives up to it's reputation in spades. Nice detail, good sound stage and imaging. Especially good at sorting out complex classical music.
No hum and minimum "transistor noise" (have to put my ear on the speaker cone to hear it at all.
A true audiophile amplifier. Thanks Hugh !
Still have to dissamble the unit to provide ventilation holes on the top & bottom, sand and paint the final coat, but am enjoying listening for now.
Used Hugh's case as a guide to make a case from scratch from scrap metal at NO cost. Front & back are 1/8" steel plate, top & bottom are 14 gauge steel plate, and sides are the heat sinks. Front is rack mount ready.
Will post pictures later when complete, quick pictures at:

More and better pictures when complete, final paint and better wire dress.
      See ya then.

Thank you Bill,

High praise indeed from a master - your work is wonderful, clearly evident from your website.

And if I have your energy and vigor at your age, Bill, I'll run for President.......

Cheers,

Hugh
