I’m mostly hanging out on head-fi these days, I’m enjoying a new group of folks but had to pop in and tell you about the Audiosense T800 IEM with 8 Knowles balanced armature drivers in each ear piece.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33005315301.htmlThey are made in China, cost $298 plus your freight option, mine came in 4 days via fedex at about $98 but Audiosense has incredibly helpful customer service, done right. They have tuned these exquisitely and for whatever reason they are easily the most tip dependent puppies. Audiosense sends 2 cables with each set the second being high grade copper. I have my perfect sound with a copper cable and JVC Spiral dot tips, a change in tips brings a change in sound.
I love these, haven’t listened to music any other way since they arrived. Detail monsters but fun and musical all at the same time. There is a huge thread at head-fi with sound impressions and outlining various choices for your setup. I’m not good at sound description but I can say they can go as low as you like or calmed down bass wise so your toes are tapping but your brain isn’t hurting!
