This marvelous "power DAC" was introduced around 2015 and quickly developed a superb reputation worldwide. It was "Product of the Year" in Absolute Sound. Small, beautifully made and full featured, with 4 digital plus analog inputs, sub/pre out, and 2 simple, effective remotes. It is simply a great sounding 100 WPC "integrated" amp. Lots of reviews and info from all over the globe on this model.

I believe at used prices it is the best value on the planet for someone looking for a great sounding all in one dac/pre/amp, which is why I bought a second one. I wanted a black unit, so this silver one is for sale.
I replaced the highly regarded Rega Brio-R with this in a system, and it is easily a better performer as an amp- clearer, more open and spacious, and with a very fine DAC to boot!
I use it in my 3rd system with an Oppo BDP-103 player using the coax out and it is a joy to hear, playing through a $5400 pair of high resolution 87 db sensitive Egglestonworks Fontaine speakers. I don't feel shortchanged using the IDA-8 in this system. This level of performance in such a small size and at this price would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
Unit has the 2 remotes and blue tooth dongle and is in great condition, certainly a 9. No scratches or marks I can see. Just gorgeous.
