Silclear is greasy and not so easy to apply on the contact surface. Ideally, the Silclear layer should be very thin and uniform. I used a few drop of the other contact enhancer Caig Pro gold (Spray) to dilute a bit of Silclear. The spray version of Caig Pro gold is composed of 95 % of organic solvents that evaporate slowly. Mixed with Siclear, it gives a silver "paint" that is very easy to apply in a very thin layer. When the organic solvents are evaporated, the contact surface is coated with the mix grease+silver particles+Caig Progold.
Disclaimer: I am not sure that this technique actually improves the electrical contacts over the standard SilClear.
