I don't recall if I ever saw Batman in a theater when it was originally released. So I was happy to catch it on a big screen.

I hadn't watched it in some time. And obviously not seen it since the introduction of the modern comic book movie (X-Men, Spidey, etc.). While Batman wasn't too bad (acting/script/effects/etc.), it's certainly not close to the current standards.

I kept thinking while I was watching it what Batman might be like if it was done to todays standards. But I guess that's what Batman Begins is basically going to be.

Almost feel like watching the other 3 films now....

man I had such high hopes after the last 2 batman flicks.

I hoped christopher nolan would do a kick ass job after seeing memento and insomnia

but I still HAVE to see it when it comes out...as all comic book geeks must.

I really like the Frank Miller "Dark Knight" style Batman, so I'm anxious to see a "Batman Year One" treatment as the next film should give us.  At best Batman was a gritty, edgy book- really dark and violent.  At works- KA Blam!   Grey tights with underoos over the top.

have you seen the trailer for sin city....i've decided i'm gonna buy the DVD before i've even seen the movie- THAT'S how amazing it looks

I agree!  The trailer I saw for Sin City was at the theater...and it was incredible!  Looked like a Miller comic book come to life.
