Hello from NYC

I found your site very helpful for Omega Speakers.  I have gone all over the map with Sonus Faber Speakers with Classe Amp, Kef Ls50 with nuprime amp. Now I'm in a

small 420 ft square feet apartment. And WAF is huge. So my electronics and speakers have to be inside a cabinet...Now I have Omega 3i with a Marantz slimline NR1403 5.1 Receiver.  Next step find an amp to connect to the Receiver's preouts to upgrade the system.

Welcome to the circle.

I used a Bottlehead S.E.X. amp with a pair of Omega Super 3i speakers. The sound was very nice in a small room. I did prefer them with a small sub.

Thank you all for the welcome and helpful suggestion. I have the Omegas currently connected to a Marantz slimline receiver that fits in the cabinet. I have very small Definitive Tech speakers as the rear speakers. I have a Rocketfish wireless sender in the cabinet for the surround speakers and for the subwoofer that is hidden under a desk..
I have a question about the Bottlehead, did you have other amps that you compared it to?

I like the price of a new Burson for $250 now. I see a Decware on ebay for 599. I'd like to have a small amp for under 500 to improve the system. Any other ideas?

Is it ok to ask questions here, or should I be going to other forums?  I looked at the Omega Circle quite a bit and saw others using amps like Decware and Burson.

At the time I also had a Bottlehead Seductor (8 watts), Cairn 4808A (30 watts SS), and a modified Hafler (115 watts SS). The only amp I did not like with them was the Hafler.

As far as asking questions here, I'd say you'd get more responses in the Omega circle.

Hey!

Totally understand that one! :icon_lol: I'm also in NYC, in Queens here. Anyway, welcome to Audio Circle.
