Looking for some advice for a new dac
« on: 31 Aug 2019, 03:54 pm »
Hi everyone I'm looking for a new dac. What it needs is ht bypass and support mqa preferably via all inputs. And also be a preamp. I dont really have a budget but I would like it under 5k. Oh yah a USB input would be needed.

I am a fan of MQA. Did you know that most MQA tracks are mastered in the studio with a Mytek ADC?

I'd recommend the Mytek Brooklyn

Does it have ht bypass.
The Manhatten looks interesting also, do you think it would be worth stretching my budget?

For 5K, I think you'd be MUCH better off with a separate DAC and pre-amp.
