LOL, I've wanted one since I saw it back then. Anyone know what it was called?

Nice Nak. Just too bad that economics led them to produce homestyle oriented gear and reorganization. The Nak of present are a sad shadow of what it really used to be a reputable company. I saw one of these stereos in NYC around 1995. You lucky dog.

Are those ADS 980's or 880's?

I've got one of these for sale on the trading post. It's called a Nakamichi System One and, yes, they sound incredible.
