Up for sale SOLD are two Empirical Design ED118 digital cables in very nice condition. (Price is per cable.) These are nominally 3 ft long (I measure 37") and terminated with BNC connectors. BNC-to-RCA adapters are included for use with gear that doesn't have BNC panel connectors. When I ordered these, Empirical Design recommended that I get them in this configuration for better sound, even when using components with RCAs.
These have 75-ohm characteristic impedance and are suitable for typical audio SPDIF use.
Nothing wrong with them -- they are great cables -- but I am clearing out my closet and need to get them to a new home.
The new price was about $100 each, including the adapters, plus freight. I am asking $40 per cable + $7 for USPS Priority Mail shipping in the US. OR, buy both for $80.00 and the freight is on me. Local pickup available in Portland, Oregon.
