Asking $3000.00

If you have not heard of Tyler Acoustics, I encourage you to search the Internet for glowing reviews over many years. Tyler’s following is extremely loyal. He custom designs the cabinets using the finest wood veneers; top of the line crossover parts and of course superb hand made drivers for all frequencies. He enlisted the help of Danny Richie (a well known expert on crossover design) to create the state of the art crossovers that are a key in the coherent performance of the Decade Series. The Decade models are used extensively in Mastering Studios. Tyler has been able to offer some of the very finest speakers for much less cost because he markets direct. His integrity and Customer Service is what makes him so well liked.

The D1 is a full range top model that employs 7 drivers per speaker. The bass units are 7 inches to enable a fast, yet very deep natural bass, the mid-range units are 6 inches and the tweeters are soft dome with very wide dispersion. They also have cool magnetically attached grill cloths. This arrangement has resulted in a very coherent, and smooth performance. Depth of soundstage is outstanding. They are efficient (90db@8ohms) and have a frequency response of 28-20k. The speaker dimensions are: 13X20X67 inches and weigh 160 lbs. each. (I have the original shipping cartons.

Finish is a dark rosewood. They are beautiful for a large speaker. Two sets of Cardas binding posts per speaker for biwiring, but I will also include custom made high purity silver jumper cables if not interested in biwiring.

Unfortunately, I can't ship these. They would need to be palletized and shipping 300+ pounds could cost $400 to $500 and may result in damage. Just not worth it.

Speakers are located in Tucson, AZ, and are pickup only. I may consider delivery to Phoenix area.

Thanks for looking and feel free to email me with questions. I can provide phone number for serious inquiries.

I heard Tyler speakers a few years ago, great speakers!

There will be a large group of audiophiles shopping for speakers next Saturday, June 29th in Scottsdale if the Tyler's don't sell by then. I doubt you would want to schlepp the 160 lb. speakers up there but you could hand out flyers.

Someone in our Tucson Audio Club might be interested too, I can make a post to the group if you want.
