AUDIRE DIFFET 3 STEREO PREAMP w/ MC Phono StageThe Diffet 3 is a compact and fairly lightweight preamp ( compared to others I've owned ) but it is a HEAVYWEIGHT performer.
Every now and then I see the lower tiered Audire Legato units for sale , I've not seen any Diffet 3 or Diffet 2 units offered for quite some time.

In the history of Audire, the Diffet 3 served as the top of the line once production of the Andante and Diffet 5 were no longer offered. what it lacks is impressiveness in chassis heft and overall visual appeal. If MORE than makes up for that in performance. So if sound matters more than WOW factor, this just might be your preamp.
