After years of enjoying these, I'm selling my Newform Research R645v3 speakers. They sound wonderful, but I wanted something smaller that I could actually lift and move by myself, anticipating future downsizing. My pair came with external passive crossovers, with the idea that I'd soon move to bi- or tri-amping with an electronic crossover/EQ. There is no internal crossover, and both woofers have separate binding posts for possible tri-amping. That never happened, though I did upgrade the high-pass caps to Mundorf silver-in-oil - great-sounding but pricey caps. I'm sure somebody who pursued the multi-amping route could get more out of them than I did. There are a couple of cosmetic flaws (and not obvious in-room) - a flaw in the wrap-around veneer of one, and a mark on the top plate of the other (see pics). You can also read about them, including pics, on Newform's website: https://www.newformresearch.com/index.php/products/our-models/r645v3

$1300. Pick up in State College, PA only. It would be prohibitively expensive to ship, and since I've broken both shoulders in recent years, impossible for me to even get them somewhere for packing. Price reflects the need for local pickup. The ribbons can be easily unbolted from the woofer-cabinet bases for moving.

Thanks for looking.

I owned a pair and enjoyed them. If you want to learn what imaging is like with next to 0 diffraction these will teach you. Warning, you may be ruined, esp. if you set them up with some space. This is how I had them set up.
