Are wrinkles in the foil normal ?

All of the RAAL 70-20's I've worked with have had wrinkles. If you felt how light and thin that foil was, you would understand why it's hard to avoid some wrinkles. It doesn't affect performance.

A friend contacted RAAL some years back about the wrinkles. It was a change in the manufacturing process that does not affect performance, but made the tweeters much more durable. RAAL ribbons have been wrinkely for many years now.

I really am loving these speakers !
Picked them up from a poster here - Hogzilla ...
He lives in my neighborhood and is a great guy ....
He replaced the Salks with a pair of Cornwall III’s...
He took my Klipsch KG4’s off my hands as well ....
To say the Salks are an improvement over the KG4’s is an understatement....
