I had a tube run away on my tube amp , so it was a perfect opportunity to try my SS amp on my new speakers..
I was expecting good results, but was hit smack in the face with great results..
I’m actually in no hurry to order replacement tubes..
Streaming Tidal through an Apple TV4 (needs upgraded it’s next in line)..
OPPO 205 Dac / volume control.. (thinking Modwright modification)..

GR8 to know that ! , My High Current 2 year old Kismet with expensive 32K Symphonic line caps & 850 kv transformer is just sitting
their in my living room , ??? meanwhile i am pondering in my mind over and over again sell it ! let go to another home or not
? Burt you will not go wrong if you choose to upgrade to Modwright Mod, only reason I did not choose that mod is because I already had a PS audio Directstream DAC . By the way next time you come to the Bay area you think you can bring you DECware pre-amp /HP to try out ? as usual the lunch is on me !
