SOLD***********

Now this is special. The stunning sound of the 2A3 direct-heated triode, with the power to drive most speakers. (I currently have them driving 87dB monitors, and can’t push my preamp volume past 10 o’clock in my small-ish room)

This is a beautiful Red Wine pair of Triode Lab's flagship 2A3GT-FFX Push-Pull Amps, featuring:

- Hashimoto Classic 30W PP Output Transformers
- Hammond Flagship Potted Power Transformers (worth $600 each)
- Triode Lab M6 Choke OEM'ed by ANK, to Triode Lab's specs
- Optional separated Hammond 2A3 Filament Transformers for the quietest performance
- Mundorf MTUBECAP (coke can power supply ECAP)
- Mundorf Silver Oil Coupling Caps
- Furutech Gold AC Inlet
- CMC USA Gold Binding posts (separate 4 Ohm and 8 Ohm taps - can be easily switched to 16)
- EH2A3 Electro-Harmonix 2A3 triodes (new)
- Made in Canada to exacting quality standards

Note the dimensions:
8-3/4" W
25" D
7-8" H with tubes

This is essentially a brand new pair of amps (~20 hrs on them so far), with warranty, and they produce 14 watts of power each, sounding superb thanks to the very high quality Hashimoto (Sansui) Output Transformers. Triode Lab/Finalé Audio are sold in eight countries, and have received rave reviews in the audio press. They’re known for being well-built, exceptionally quiet even with sensitive speakers, and very musical.

These are Triode Lab's flagship 2A3 amps. Located near Toronto, and shipping is not a problem. Wired for 110/120V. MSRP US$10,280. One amp has a small, almost hairline scratch, out of sight at the back (very hard to see but ask me for a pic). The back of one transformer cover also has some touch ups, see 3rd pic. And no cages are offered with these amps. FINAL PRICE for this pair $4800 USD, including tubes, paypal fees and shipping. If you have your own tubes, we can make it an even $4400. Either way, this is a killer deal.

Tubes included;
4 x 2A3 Electro-Harmonix (new)
4 x 6SN7GT Shuguang (new)
2 x 5AR4/GZ32 Russian (new)

"I currently have them driving 87dB monitors, and can’t push my preamp volume past 10 o’clock in my small-ish room."

Note that this has nothing to do with the *power* of the amps, but is related to their voltage gain.

Sarchi

True. The amps have average sensitivity and I'm using them with a Finalé hybrid tube preamp that's also listed for sale here. I did try a passive preamp at one point and the gain wasn't enough. So Paul's point is well taken.

Still, if you can turn it up, and they don't distort, it means the ability to swing voltage *with current.*

Finale/Triode Lab amps are first-rate all the way.  I had their 45 monos and they were the quietest tube amps I'd ever used.
